Kleinubing takes points lead after Wittmer adversity

The consistency and strength of the RealTime Acura SPEED Touring Car team was demonstrated again this past weekend at Watkins Glen International. Teammates Peter Cunningham and Pierre Kleinubing placed their Acura Certified Pre-Owned Vehicles-sponsored TSXs on the front row of the grid in Saturday's Qualifying session, with points leader Kuno Wittmer lined up in fourth and Dino Crescentini two rows back in eighth.

RealTime Acura TSX drivers Kuno Wittmer and Pierre Kleinubing got the doubleheader weekend off on the right foot with an impressive one-two finish in Saturday's SCCA Pro Racing SPEED World Challenge Touring Car race at Lime Rock Park. Wittmer's victory was his second of the season and RealTime Racing's eighth win at the historic northwestern Connecticut track since 1993.

Wittmer, Kleinubing, Cunningham 1-2-3 in points

RealTime Racing Acura TSX drivers may not have won their third race in a row today to start the 2008 SPEED Touring Car Championship, but they did manage to secure the next three positions in the finishing order to extend their Drivers' Championship points lead.
